Conference 2018

The Cultural Diversity in Ageing Conference 2018 was held on Friday 15 June at the iconic Arts Centre Melbourne. The theme, Setting Standards, showcased the latest range of initiatives and resources that can support inclusive practice in the aged care sector.

The Cultural Diversity in Ageing Conference 2018 was held on Friday 15 June at the iconic Arts Centre Melbourne. The theme, Setting Standards, showcased the latest range of initiatives and resources that can support inclusive practice in the aged care sector.

The Conference provided a platform for policy makers, aged care service managers and leaders to explore how they can work towards implementing organisation wide initiatives that ensure the needs of older people from diverse backgrounds are met.

The conference also featured presentations from the winners and finalists of the Cultural Diversity in Ageing Excellence Awards 2018.
